Enrico Garaldi

I am a post-doctoral fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Astrophysik (Garching, Germany) in the group of prof. Volker Springel.

 

In my work I use numerical simulations in order to investigate various aspects linked to the large scale structures in the Universe. My main focus is numerical simulations. I mostly use them to investigate the Epoch of Reionization and  galaxy formation.

 

I was born in Modena, Italy. I did my Bachelors' studies in Physics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy) and my Master's studies in Theoretical Physics at the University of Bologna (Italy), working on numerical simulations of non-standard cosmologies. I did my Ph.D. at the Argelander Institut fuer Astronomie (Bonn, Germany).
