I am very proud to announce that my first paper has been published! It is based on the work I carried out during my master studies at the University of Bologna, together with Marco Baldi and Lauro Moscardini. We studied the radial density profile of a statistical sample of dark-matter haloes. We used zoom-in numerical simulations employing the "multi-coupled Dark Energy" cosmology, which features two dark matter species with opposite couplings to the a light dark energy scalar field. We showed that this coupling induces a dynamical segregation of the dark matter haloes. Consequently, the central density profile is distorted and the original cusp is morphed into a core.
